Alpacas, a deer named Miracle, horses, buffalo, chickens,
ducks, geese, and rabbits can all be seen at Dreamland Vacation Resort as you take a walk on the service

to Mena, Arkansas. We have the only fully-equipped, handicapped-accessible lakefront vacation rental. Fr

has two excellent Christian Licensed Massage Therapists available upon advanced notice. Please call Julie and Trey Shurly

Our to focus is on couples, family, friends and fun! You can now
enjoy a baseball field, Badmitten and Vally ball field, Foot ball, soccer field, and Frisbee throwing, and
play at the large 3 tower accessable Castle Playground. Handi-Retreat is not just for people
who are handi-capped or groups. A variety of people have enjoyed this vacation rental. We welcome singles, couples,
families, 4-wheelers, ATV-rs, bikers, golfers checking out local golf courses, church groups,
and anyone else eager to enjoy this beautiful man made lake-side property. Come enjoy fishing, the
game room, the paddle boat, Bar B Q picnics etc. Dogs are welcome, they will enjoy using the pier as a dog
run, and your children will delight in safely riding their trikes and peddle cars back and forth on the pier as you fish!
Children also enjoy fishing and throwing out fish food. and playing at the Castle Playground, which is also handicap
accessible.
Take a ride in a complimentary paddle boat, and
enjoy a picnic on your own semi-private island in Rosie's Glen Lake.

at Handi-Retreat and other Dreamland Vacation Resort rentals. Trailer your 4-wheel ATVs? Just 8-10 miles down the road is
Wolf Pin Gap. You may see signs of deer and bear tracks as bears and deer quickly scamper toward safer ground
to avoid on-coming 4 wheelers.
* Swim & Explore: A scenic ride will take you toward beauiful
the South East end of the Cossaccot River where you will see waterfalls, a swimming hole, and beautiful shady trees.
Mena also has a Public Swimming Pool.

At Handi-Retreat and all the Dreamland Vacation Resort Rentals you will have plenty of photo opps as you see our
Buffalo, Horses, Geese, Ducks. Square's, Rabbits and Birds.
*Fish: Our ponds are stocked with Catfish,
Crappie, Bluegill Bass, Bigmouth Bass, Grass-eating Carp, and Minnows.
* Paddle Boat: Get in one
of our complementary Paddle boats after you pack a picnic lunch or brunch and paddle boat to picnic your semi-private
lake island.

Rack up a game of Billiards at the Pool Table in the Game Room. Also Dreamland Vacation Resort has ball
parks for playing base ball, basket ball, valley ball, soccer and tag foot ball. In the Game room of the bunkhouse you
will also find sports equipment, games, water toys, puzzles, crafts etc.
Relaxation:
* Relax and enjoy the indoor hot tub and inferred sauna, they are tempting!
* Receive a relaxing Massage. If you arrange in advance the Massage Therapists at Natures Touch
will come to your vacation rental and give you a relaxing massage in the comfort of your own room.
Feast:

Cook, Bake and BBQ: Handi Retreat has a large well stocked kitchen and two Barbeque's, one is propane the other is for
coal or wood. So help your self's and cook up a feast.
* Dine: For lunch, you can decide to take a 2-5 minute drive into town to check out one of
Mena's charming family-owned restaurants. There is a great Italian restaurant, everyone that loves Italian food will
be eager to feast there; or if you like Mexican food we recommend Papa Palvanoes. Maybe Chinese is your choice,
if so, you will love the China Restaurant. For BBQ, catfish, or burgers and great deserts, the Chopping Block and
Branding Iron are hard to beat. Mena also has great coffee shops like the friendship House,True North, Grumpy's or the
Mena Cafe.
Explore:
* Find Crystals: Board Camp- Camp Ground offers day Camp.
* Shop: When you simply can't eat another bite, you
enjoy a leisurely stroll through the art gallery on Mena Street and then visit the historic train depot and museum, around
the corner on Sherwood Avenue. Perhaps you'll spend the rest of the afternoon discovering Mena's unique shops and craft boutiques.
* Take a scenic drive: Are you in the mood for adventure! Tilahena Drive will take you less
than 5 minutes drive to the Tilamena Visitors Center where you can try out your hiking boots, hiking the trails. You
may decide to continue driving another 10s up to Queen Wilhelmena Lodge and the Queens Back Yard for
miniature golf, the scenic train ride, or Rich Mountain to the Arkansas Wildlife and Nature Park and Steve's and
Susan's country store and cafe. * Go out to a movie or experience the Quachata Live Theater: As evening approaches,
you hurry back to the retreat to shower, change, and grab your tickets for tonight's performance at the award-winning Ouachita
Little Theatre.
And when it's eventually time to turn in, you find yourself thinking about all the fun things you
didn't get to do today - ATV at near-by Wolf Pin Gap, rafting on the Cossatot River, exploring the Talimena Scenic
Trail, playing pool in your private game room.

speaker, comedians, talented singer, or has the desire to be or has received the calling to do so, young
or old age does not mater, as long as they have something to share, and others are welling to listen, you can get together
in the Church on the Hill at no extra charge. So, don't miss the opportunity to come together at the Church
On The Hill and be blessed in word, song, and spirit. Ask about Rosie's offer of giving you a 3rd night free
for inviting everyone at Dreamland Vacation Resort to enjoy your sermon, motivational speech, comedy show, or musical presentation

 This bridge leads to a peaceful memory garden, If you have been to Dreamland Vacation Resort and
have not followed this bridge to the Memory Garden perhaps you have not followed the service road past Back to Africa, The
Church On The Hill, continued past the Castle On The Hill than ventured beyond Shady Cabana and walked over the Cedar
Bridge to the secluded Memory Garden. Of course you could always take a short to this Memory Garden which is on
the East side of the Dreamland vacation Resort Property. You can paddle your paddle boats accross Rosie's
Glenn Lake to the East side of Dreamland Vacation Resort to see the Memory Garden. (Remember the sun rises
in the East and sets in the West, and you will discover this hidden garden). Make sure you tie your boats
or pull them to shore after crossing Rosie's Glenn Lake (which as Rosie herself accidentally experienced herself, is
a cold challange in the winter).
 You will find this relaxing glider bench near the Castle Playground, by the ball parks at Dreamland
Vacation Resort.
Children young and old will enjoy walking up the ramp of this 50" long Castle Play Ground and
ringing the Bell at the Bell Tower.
Enjoy a paddle boat ride to Rosie's Glenn's Lake Island.
Walk over the Covered Bridge and past the greenhouse to the Meditation area with its
benches, outdoor fireplace , and picnic.

a king size bed with high quality mattress, private bath, lake views, and plenty of storage for your belongings.

A second lake-view bedroom offers
a queen bed with high quality mattress, a charming rustic motif, and ample space for two.

The third bedroom sports space-efficient
bunk beds, with a lower bunk that converts from a double bed to a sofa.

The fourth bedroom iis equipped
with a professional hospital bed, a foldable wheelchair, a desk, and a computer.

An eat-in kitchen features
a formal dining set with all dinnerware, flatware, glassware, cookware, and linens.

Kitchen appliances include a double-door
refrigerator, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven, and coffee maker.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a separate
laundry room (far right) with large-capacity top-loading washer and dryer.

The handicapped-accessible bathroom
features a pedestal sink, shower with transfer seat, customized commode, and security bars throughout.

The private master bath boasts
a step-up Roman tub, a separate glass-enclosed shower stall, and a large vanity with ample under-sink storage.

The hall bathroom, which is across from
the queen bedroom and next to the bunk bedroom, features a combo tub/shower and a vanity with under-sink storage.

An indoor hot tub accommodates
two. The gentle ripple of nearby fountains creates a truly relaxed atmosphere.

The infrared sauna is equipped
with its own CD player. CD's, bath robes, and slippers are provided free of charge.

A detached game room seen in this
photo has been converted into a bunk house, the pool table remains, but three beautiful, comfortable log bunk beds and a full

private, fence-enclosed playground, which includes, swings, rings, a slide, and much more.

A private covered bridge adds a
touch of nostalgia to the scenery and provides access to the other side of the lake.
